A Time to Speak

~ In a world of fast food and disposable everything, ppl tend to quit so easily... on their marriage, on their kids, on their career goals, on their faith... the trend is to be a coward and to call yourself a victim, human, justified.. but unless you fight a good fight.. unless you go the distance and sweat and bleed and grit through the pain.. you haven't really fought a good fight.. run the race with endurance.. fight the fight to the death.. and God promises that you can't even begin to dream of the things he has planned to bless you with in eternity. Win.. God will make a way ♥

~ God will make you able, if you trust him. Even when he begins to rearrange your life or change who you thought you were sposed to be.. trust him. He's merely making you a fighter.. and a winner.

~ "When freedom is at stake, your silence is not golden.. it's yellow." Tom Anderson

~ "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:
... a time to be silent and a time to speak" (Eccl 3)

All too often, ppl (even the church) presents the case that keeping silent is holier than speaking up.. that some how being passive at all times, soft-spoken, timid, careful not to offend anyone.. is being like Christ.

... But their Jesus is not the same Jesus I serve.
Nor is their Bible the same Bible I am reading.
There is a time to shut up and wait on God to bring direction.
But there is a time when he sends the direction, and the ppl of God are to speak with the same passion and boldness that Christ did, time and time again in Scripture. No matter if to men of power, leaders of the church, the rich, or the popular.

Speak the Word of God that he puts in your mouth, as the Spirit of God leads you.
