One of my favorite Gandalph quotes is when he talks about "the breath (calm) before the plunge..."
That is the time to think things through and to seek wise counsel, to weigh all things before God. And when your conscience is clear between you and Him during that moment of calm and thought and soul searching... the plunge is all that remains.
Cuz once you jump into whatever is before you in life, you ar...e committed. Wavering and lukewarmness and failure to make up your mind will cause you to land badly and will cost you much consequence, if not failure.
But even if you take the plunge, and the fall is beyond what you expected or can manage.. if you have covered it in prayer and conversation before God, if you have sought wise counsel, if you have checked your motives as to selfishness or for the good of all... God will come under you like a gentle wind and guide you like an arrow to the mark... or he will break the fall, so that it does not break your spirit or anyone elses.
Take the breath.

As God leads you in it.
I pray his perfect will in your life through the calm and through the storm.
